My dears, I wanted to blog you.

Coffee Pen 3

Welcome to my expedition to success, where along the way you’ll be following the mishaps and chaos that is my work, life, and incoherent wailing over the many fandoms I unwillingly get myself into.

For those who don’t know, (i.e. everyone), I’m currently a librarian who works in South London and in just a few weeks I’ll be starting my last module in the OU, for a BA (Hons) degree in Humanities, specialising Creative Writing and literature, (featuring unemployment – that was joke. Sort of).

The best way I could describe myself is by combining the characteristics of a cynic and a hopeless romantic. 99.9% of the time my head will always be surfing the clouds, with background music highlighting my moods along the way. I’ve been like this since I could remember and I’m most likely never going to change.

Music inspires me like no other, so most of the time you’ll find me with my ear-buds in (hello tinnitus!), and my face sombre in thoughts and ideas. Like every writer out there, I don’t ever get to writing them, or I lie to myself and say that I’ll make note of them later.

My hobbies include unhealthily immersing myself into the lives of fictional characters, reading an obsessive amount of fanfiction – coinciding with me losing an almost detrimental state of sleep, and jaffa cakes. Especially dipped in green, lemon tea.

My dislikes include judgemental people and the phrase “be realistic“.

And that’s it. I’ll keep it brief for now. (Because let’s be honest who reads these things until the person is famous?).

That being said, as always,

Sahar is in progress.
